About the role

As a Portfolio Analyst within a growing team, you’ll be empowered to deliver against a strong risk based strategy and have the autonomy and confidence to manage your workload in a way that works for you and the wider team.

This is an important role, one where you’ll manage securities requests for existing commercial lending customers and deliver key property and account activities such as lease approvals, sale of part security, S106 agreements and Guarantee release.

Underpinning your work will be your commitment to delivering great customer outcomes, whilst balancing this with ensuring the appropriate commercial, financial crime and credit risk outcomes.

You will build great relationships with customers and stakeholders internally and externally with a firm eye on maintaining the integrity of the existing book.

This roles offers hybrid working, with the requirement that the successful candidate attends our Peterborough offices 1-2 days a week. We do also have sites in Bradford & Leeds therefore we are open to discussing the logistics of potentially working from these sites during the recruitment process.

About you

You’ll need experience of working within a lending function, ideally coupled with experience of property related legal matters and previous close work with solicitors.

You’ll need to be committed to delivering excellent customer service with experience of conducting account checks, covenant checking, making proposals to credit and have an understanding of how to assess property title plans and other legal documents.

Coupled with the specific experience, will have strong influencing and negotiation skills with a flair for numbers and systems.
